When should you be worried and wake baby up?

My little girl has always loved her sleep. She had Hand foot and mouth disease last week so is likely needing the rest. However it's now gone 10am. She went to bed at around 8pm. My maths leaves a lot to be desired but that's 14 hours of sleep. Should I wake her or just leave her to it? She usually wakes around 8am.

I think I’d be tempted to wake her up now and make sure she’s had some water and milk. She can always go back down for a nap over lunch. Hope she feels better soon.

I would wake her for a feed and change. She will go back to sleep after if she needs to but 14 hours is a long time without any fluids xx

Thanks guys. I made a hot drink and that did the trick, she woke up! Has had a big feed and nappy change now 😊

My daughter is like this at the moment as she has hand foot and mouth. I would leave her just in case she did wake in the night and you didn't realise which is why she might be asleep now
