not very active :(

hey so I’m trying my best to be more active in this pregnancy but at the minute only doing like 5000 steps a day because I feel SO tired and it’s making me feel really guilty , is anyone else experiencing this?

Hey girl how far along are you? It should/might be better in your second trimester. I did barely 2K steps in my first trimester, if that. I went back to the gym at week 14 xx

@Thélise hey I’m 15 weeks now some days I feel okay and I still go to work but on my days off I’m struggling to motivate myself as I feel so tired xx

Why do you feel guilty? You should be doing whatever your body needs, you are creating a whole human being, I get terrible SPD in my pregnancies due to my hypermobility disorder and I literally can't walk so don't beat yourself up about it, I was exhausted in my last pregnancy all I wanted to do was lie down, have you had your iron/ferritin checked?

Girl just do stretches everyday for 10mins that’s keeping your body active and preparing for labour in the best way possible! Xx

I get it, you're not alone don't worry! Like it's been commented above, it's your body's way of telling you you need rest, the guilt is what makes it harder, I had to learn to give myself a lot of patience and compassion for my first 13 weeks! I'm back in work now and walk 30min a day, in bed by 7pm when I can 🤣 always feel free to send me a message for a little moan or vent xx

I felt exhausted up to week 16, then my energy levels came back up and I was able to do a lot of exercise in my second trimester. Now 34 weeks and feeling exhausted again.
