diaper changing help

recently, my son decided he’s never going to sit still for a diaper change ever again. even when i put the clips on him on the changing table he manages to wiggle around. i’ve tried giving him a toy or my phone, nothing. i put his diaper on him while he stands now, and when he poops i’ve just started rinsing him down in the sink. honestly, i’m feeling pretty defeated with this. any ideas, tips, or tricks are definitely appreciated.

STOP! Don’t you feel defeated girl. You are getting the job done like what. Standing up! You are amazing. My son looooves to turn around especially when he does his blow out so I just hold his legs so he doesn’t touch the table and just wipe him in a push up position 😭 and same who about to stress about all that poop. I wash and rinse that booty to in the sink.. the tub… then clean after. That’s what ppl mean when they say we do the impossible cause we do to take care of that baby.

My daughter has decided that she hates laying down for diaper changes now too. When she can she’ll roll, flip, stand, anything. She cries and screams and I just kind of block it out until it’s finished. I know she’s fine and nothing is wrong. It’s just drama and she’s fine when I sit her up. Remember they are babies and we shouldn’t beat ourselves up for things we can’t control!

@Cheri you’re right. thank you i needed to hear this 😭🤍 made me cry in a good way. it’s just been a rough week. push up position is wilddd tho 😂😂 the things we do for our kids

They work so well. They have great absorption and my son does good now he stands during the change and I help him put his feet in the holes. It's so much better for us.
