How often is everyone else’s baby feeding??

Can someone tell me why my almost 8 week old is still feeding every 1.5-2 hours if that in the day 😭 the longest she’ll go without feeding is 2.5 hours. She is breastfed only but still, I feel like when she was a couple weeks old she was going for longer without feeds. Does it mean she’s not getting enough milk in one feed or is she just snacking? When will it be more like every 3/4 hours? Is this normal at this stage?

my baby is 8 weeks and exactly the same, during the day 1.5/2 hours sometimes even every hour, hes formula fed. during the night we’ve managed to push it to 3 hours even now and again but thats with resettling him when he wakes

That’s completely normal for a breast fed baby x

My baby is 8 weeks today and I’m lucky if I get 1.5 hours between feeds! It’s more likely 30mins to an hour! He’s just a feeding machine 😂 I’ve contacted the health visitor about it as I was worried he wasn’t getting enough where you can’t see when breast feeding but he definitely is, just developing! Try not to worry but I’m definitely ready for the lengths of feeds to get longer!

10 week old here and gap between varies a lot but quite often 1-1.5hr max, occasionally a little longer if I can persuade her to nap a bit longer on a walk.
