Im practising saying no!! It’s really hard I agree!! I want to wear the baby in the carrier because it’s calming for both of us. If I’m carrying or holding him and someone says, can I hold him, I will say ‘no, maybe later,’, ‘no, not right now’, things like this, if they say why, ‘because I am holding him right now, I don’t want to unsettle him, no is a full answer’

I had considered baby wearing but she is not loving it at the minute and I’ll only be around a big group of family for about an hour. That’s why I think they’ll be upset if I just hold her

I definitely need to practice just saying no 😫

I’m refusing to have any big dinners this year, so would only be up for a walk, with the baby in the pram 😬

I’ve said no to big family gatherings this year. You gotta do whatever is comfortable for you 🤍

I'm dreading it too. My family are so full on and they get excited I get that but my baby gets so overwhelmed with the noises and constant touching so I'm planning to bring a travel cot so she has a safe space in another room away from people and we can have some quiet xx
