@Danielle I technically have 2. First one was a fake, second is a sapphire and white diamond ring
I’d get mine remade into other jewelry
@Allexys ooo that’s a good one
I sold them, but you don't get much for 2nd hand jewellery in the UK to be honest. 🤷♀️
If he’s not asked for it back, keep it and turn it into something else for your children?
I gave the engagement ring back (he paid for it) and sold the wedding ring (my grandparents paid for it).
Mine asked for it lol he threatened with several different things if I didn’t return
I was married for 7 years, did absolutely everything in that relationship, but all he did was abuse (physically, mentally, and financially) and mistreat me. Not to mention the cheating. I pawned the rings to get money to escape the relationship. But like @Ruth said, you don’t get much. My $2500 ring went for about $500
I'd keep it and just decide what you want to do with it later.
I have not been divorced but I think my first thought would be to return it to him. If he says he doesn’t want it back then I would probably hold onto it until I’m emotionally ready to let it go. Then I’d sell it.
