Poorly or teething

Does anyone else’s baby seem to get a cold when teething? My LO has the past few days been very congested, sneezing runny nose and lots of coughing and over night he’s been sick a few times. But he seems perfectly well in himself, playing nicely and happy. He didn’t do this with his bottom teeth but I think both top teeth are coming through, it’s been about 1 week now!

We have the exact same! 2 top teeth are coming in, and he is in good spirit, despite snotty nose, bad cough, and a temperature there has been coming and going over the last few days. His sleep is also out of routine, with shorter wake windows during the day and very disturb sleeping at night 😴

@Sara oh that’s interesting! I was sure it was teething but then worrying I should make a doctors appointment.. but he’s very happy when playing! It’s the sick at night poor thing as we have to change him and the bed! Hope the teeth make an appearance soon! Thank you!

There are alot of bugs going around atm my son was the exact same as this and I also thought teething as he was happy playing ect, but then I got sick too so I guess it was a bug. X

Mines suffering with both at the moment. It’s been intense.

My Lb was like this for almost 2 weeks, i ended up taking him to the GP, he had a sore enflamed throat too and they gave him an antibiotic & has helped him x

@Roisin thank you, my boys just had a course of anti biotics for strep A so really hoping he doesn’t need anything else!
