Can you breastfeed and give a dummy?

Or will it not work out.

I found I needed to give my little one a dummy as soon as she was born, as it was hard to keep her soothed without being attached to me . You do what you think is best 😀

My baby never accepted a dummy or bottles but she did use me as a dummy she’d shallow suck sometimes and not actually drink anything sometimes I wished she had taken a dummy as she was constantly attached to me. So you could try if it’s hunger rather than comfort he/she will spit it out and still cry

Yes we do that and works out very well. LO can soothe himself to sleep

We use a dummy when he’s tired and he’s currently 5 months, EBF since birth with the occasional bottle, I find the dummy actually helps calm him down if he’s upset before a feed etc x
