I'm wondering how everyone know they was in labor

So I never once felt a contraction till he was almost out, I was induced and the nurse asked me if I felt that (a big one) I said no not at all and she was surprised cuase I didn't feel anything and had to be told when to push and I did get an epidural a few hours later and never felt 1 thing it didn't even hurt getting the epidural so if I didn't have my appointment I would of went to work being 4 cm dilated (I was induced cuase not enough fluids for little man )

I was induced and I took the epidural immediately. Didn't feel a thing after that 😬

My water broke like in the movies so I kind of knew from that but I didn’t start having any contractions so ended up with unplanned induction.

@Sumayya I felt nothing at all and was only pushing less then 2 hours before my little one was born and im never going back to that midwife cuase she left and I was told to stop pushing so they can grab her , how on earth do you stop pushing when baby almost out

@Nikki I was told my water broke but I never felt wet at all and the midwife had to brake what was left

@Rhiannon I had something similar the nurse wouldn’t believe me when I said had to push because I was only around 7cm at my last check so she did another and was shocked I was fully dilated and baby was coming and they literally said “don’t push we have to get the OB” thankfully she got there pretty quick but that was the worst part of the experience actively not pushing when baby was already coming.

@Nikki it felt like forever befor midwife got back 😑 and I have a feeling that may be the reason why my son has a broken collarbone cuase of a contraction when he was almost out

@Rhiannon ya my daughter’s head came out really really lopsided and I ended up tearing really bad I’m wondering if fighting against nature had something to do with it.
