Dream feed

Does anyone do dream feeding? If so, what age did you start and how do you do it? X

Yeah my little ones 4 weeks I’ve done it since 3 weeks, I just give her the bottle as usually would and she takes it, she then goes 5 hours through the night rather than the normal 3 hours xx

I’ve been doing it since 4 weeks, she’s 6 today, I did it with my first too, so you just make them a bottle whilst they are still asleep, and feeding them without fully waking them so no nappy change I usually do it about 2am so she sleeps through till the morning then, keep everything dark or dimly lit however she sleeps x

I’ve done this since day one. When he started to grumble in the night, I feed him his bottle before he fully wakes up and cries. Once bottle is finished he is passed out so I quickly change the nappy and this usually buys us around 4-5 hours (he is three weeks). We do this in a dark room and just leave the bedroom door ajar so we have a little light shine through so we can change nappies in bed :)

@Fiona @Amy @Stephanie thanks girlies. So I usually put my 5week old to bed between 9-10pm after his feed. He then wakes up between 3-4 hours and this continues through the night. So last night he went down at 9pm, then woke 12, 4, 7 then 10am. When would I do the dream feed? X

I would do it just before 12 when he wakes completely and before 4am if he grumbles if not leave him to sleep xx
