C section scar

My baby is 3 months old, just wondering what everyone’s scar looked like at 3 months PP, because mine seems to looks very dark purple and doesn’t look like a straight line it looks really messy, wondering if it’s where it got infected and opened up at 6 weeks PP. will it fade eventually or will it likely be this colour and this bold forever ? 🥲

It should fade eventually mine was really dark purple and quite bumpy but now im almost 7 months PP and it’s gone a light purple and is a lot smoother too I assume it will just keep fading and go white x

Mine is still infected 3 months out…. After multiple rounds of antibiotics, going to the hospital for dressings daily, washing and drying daily… 😪 I popped a stitch and had an internal bleed that bled out my incision for nearly 4 weeks. I’m just tired of this and want it to end.

Everyone heals very differently so unfortunately hard to say how it will go! My first puffed up a lot because I get really bad keloids with all my scars. I’ve been wearing silicone strips from as soon as it healed this time and it hasn’t gotten puffy yet 🤞 Excuse the hair:

After my first c section I had no scar you couldn’t see it when I had my c section 4 months ago the scar is ugly and jagged

Almost 4 monthS PP here, my scar is only visible on the very ends and has been really faint since 3 weeks PP. i think it does have something to do with how well you healed as well. I healed beautifully with no complications but i was also religious with bactine antiseptic spray and peroxide wipe downs daily.

Mine were both very red/purple at that stage and I had infections so the line isn’t straight, my youngest is 2 now and the scar just looks like a big stretch mark 😊

Mines red and and bumpy at nearly 8 months PP. I'm going to get mine looked at as I think mine might be keloiding.
