@Sian that's reassuring!! I mean normal house noise like TV, hoover, talking i know is fine but my son is singing and talking at the top of his voice! I hope baby can sleep through it lol
With my first I had him sleeping while I did dishes, all the things. When my second came we were still loud babies get used to the noise it’s good because if/ when they go to daycare it’s so beneficial for them to be used to loud noises

Oh my little girl is loud as hell she will sing scream throw a good loud tantrum you name it! He got used to it pretty quickly!
I'm hoping so, my son will have just turned three too when our second is due and is also energetic and loud and to be honest this isn't something I even thought about. We never worried about making things quiet when my first slept though and he would just take naps whenever, wherever (as long as he was in contact with me) and sleep through noise.
@Jess same here my son also slept through anything with contact naps but it would be more difficult to do that with a newborn and a toddler, I'd prefer if I could lay baby down in bassinet and be able to get things done and use that time to connect with my toddler, if you know what I mean, I'm going to try it out and see how it goes, I know baby will adjust, I'm just nervous lol
I think having the baby nap next to you and your toddler in a bassinet or someting while playing or doing activities would be the perfect way to get little one used to your 3yo noise levels.

My little girl is 3 and my son is now 3 months! She is exactly the same! He just got used to the noise! Sleeps thru everything now! 🤣 don't be quiet around a baby they will get used to it!
