LIJ Forest Hill or Katz women’s Hospital

I recently started seeing a new OB, she just informed me that the clinic I’m going to doesn’t do deliveries at Katz women hospital only at forest hill and that I would have to find a new OB if I want to deliver at Katz For those of you who have deliver at either of these two hospitals which one would you recommend I had my son at Mount Siani West and have always gone to Mount Siani but i recently moved and kinda to far to continue going there

Woman’s Health Pavilion delivers at Katz! They have a rotating team of OBs that work at the hospital so you’ll get whoever is working at the time of your delivery, but you usually get to meet them all during your prenatal visits. They have multiple offices all over Queens

I had both of my daughters at Forest Hills. It is a smaller hospital, and the team is amazing!! I have no complaints at all. I know a lot of women love Katz, but a lot of my close friends delivered at Forest Hills as well, and no one has complained.

I worked for northwell every woman i worked with gave birth at katz ! They loved it amazing team! But it is a bit far for me compared to the forrest hills 20mins away and it was an amazing experience great team as well but if you closer to katz i would go to katz

@Noelle forest hill 13 minutes and Katz is like 25 to 30 minutes

I would go to firest hills then also i have an ob who delivers there if you need her

@Noelle sure, I recently found one but I feel like she new and doesn’t have much experience some of the questions I ask her she doesn’t have answers to but my old OB would know most of these things she doesn’t even seem to know how to use the ultrasound machine which is insane to me

Hmm i would switch i have an older dr currently and she is great but she seems to be pretty booked which is annoying when you have emergencies

Newer drs seem very dismissive and i hate that

I loved my OB and luckily she was the one to deliver my son. Her name is Dr. Altmann and she is affiliated with Katz. I have been seen by 3 other OBs at the practice and they were also very lovely. Loved the hospital and all the staff there. I would definitely recommend that hospital and my doctor.

I delivered at Katz and Anna patient at the Women’s Health Pavilion. I have no complaints whatsoever. I met many OBs but the one who delivered my baby no never met but she was absolutely the best. Dr. Piboon. I don’t know anything about Forest Hills.
