I like the Ritual ones but if you're burpy they can be a little unpleasant, so I take them at lunchtime
I take mine in the evenings now x
@paula I need to try that, I usually drink it with water
@Bri I’ll need to look into those
@Lexy 🌱 I tried that too but it would make me super nauseous in the morning but maybe now that I’m a little further along it’ll help
@Erika I take mine everyday with lunch so I also have food on my stomach. Hope that helps!
Yup. I did. My midwife prescribed dilectin to help with it. I tried a few different kinds, taking them at different times of day etc. nothing helped, so at 12 weeks my midwife and I discussed if I should continue to not feel well or if I should stop taking them all together. I decided to stop taking them and have a very happy and healthy 7 week old now! My midwife told me that providing you eat a balanced diet that prenatals are really not necessary after the first trimester.. if I ever have another baby I will do the same again!
I was just about to post but I saw this! I think this happened to me this morning which was odd given usually my vitamins make the nausea go away. Instead my record of never actually throwing up is out of the window 😩🤣 11 weeks and I was puking my guts out all morning! Still feeling queasy. I switched from Ritual to Perelel recently specifically for the anti nausea B6!
@Amanda the last 4 weeks I’ve taken maybe one a week but only because I was so tired of feeling super sick . I don’t remember getting sick after taking them with my son
@Nika I’ve been looking at different kinds and looking at reviews but I know our bodies are different so we all react a certain way to vitamins . I’ll have to look into that brand
@Erika I took their preconception packs as well and really liked them. I think I’ll make sure I’ve eaten a little something from now on! Hopefully it stops.
I was having the same issue, physically gagging when I was trying to take my prenatal pill. My midwife recommended N.O.R.A. tea (minus the red raspberry leaf until later on). Our bodies can’t properly metabolize synthesized vitamins and minerals so getting the nutrients I needed from natural sources was so much gentler on my stomach. I had an incredibly healthy and event free pregnancy and had a healthy 8lb baby who is still thriving. I will proudly say I had a fantastic diet while I was pregnant as well, lots of home grown veggies, liver, etc. A quick search online will give you a recipe (as well as guidance on when to add in the red raspberry) if you’re interested.
I tried gummies for my first trimester and always had a hard time getting them down/ nausea. Sometimes I wouldn’t take it at all or I would put it off all day cuz I hated it. After I switched to a pill form and found it easier. But also my nausea eased up too so that probably helped.
I take mine before bed now too as i was getting nauseous when taking them in the morning

@Sonia I tried that last night and I honestly feel super good , I thought I would’ve woken up nauseous but instead I’m super hungry
@Erika yay! I will take hunger over nausea anyyyy day! Good luck with it all x
@Sonia yes saaame ! Thank you 🫶🏼 My nausea went away right at 12 weeks with my son so I’m hoping it happens again this time
I take mine before bed.
I’ve found that taking vitamins with orange juice really helps a lot
