Sleeping with duvet

So online say 12m my hv said 18. Mine has an all on one that doesn’t have a separate sheet over it. Either way I know my lo is old enough to pull it off her head it was to xx

My boys had a duvet and pillow for about a year now. We started with naps just for a week then started using at night aswell. Must say I’ve been seeing so many of these posts recently and makes me wonder if I just did it early or if everyone else is doing it really late 😅 I just followed advice given by my mum who has 5 kids 🤷🏼‍♀️😅 We did start with a quilted blanket to start with so he couldn’t find his way into a sheet but after a couple months he moved to a single bed some we got a proper duvet

@Beckie that’s ideal thank you. We have a bad sleeper so just trying something else that might help. She’s been napping with a duvet for about 6 weeks so think I will give it a go x

Hey! Our boy is 19 months! We use a sleeping bag and a light duvet, to get him used to it 😊our little one is a proper wriggler so at least if he kicks the duvet off, he’s still going to be warm enough x

@Kim we have a wriggler too! We have put her in a fluffy baby grow which is very warm and the duvet! How does little one get on with moving a lot with the duvet?

@Ashleigh aw sounds ideal for her! I’m sure in time she will get used to it, we’ve only been using a duvet for ours for around a week! And he’s a big lad for his age so he doesn’t do too bad to be honest, he hasn’t gotten wrapped up and stuck or struggled to pull it off himself! If anything, he just kicks it off on the floor/at the end of his bed, and we leave him be. He will usually cry if he’s too cold so I just go in and pop it back on for him and he goes back to sleep! X

my little girl is 19months and literally started to sleep with her duvet last night i was so anxious but i knew it was the right thing to do as she has slept with a blanket for comfort since about 12months and knows to take it off from over her face even in her sleep 🥰

@rachel🥰 that’s good! Our little girl has had a pillow from about 14months old so she’s used to that. Fingers crossed 🤞 x
