Wisdom Tooth
Has anyone ever had an impacted wisdom tooth during pregnancy ?? Omg I’m in so much pain rn . It’s half way into my back molar and started a couple days ago . My whole jaw is hurting . I’m 12 weeks pregnant and I’m just in so much pain . My Medicaid dental place doesn’t accept the plan no more so I have to pay out of pocket for emergency dental and trying to work on that because this is so unbearable.

@KayLee yeah I have a hole in my molar and I don’t want to get any teeth removed or nothing while pregnant . Did you do anything specific to tolerate the pain ?
Tylenol 1000mg every 4-6 hours. It took the edge off.

When I was about 10 weeks my wisdom tooth decided to push itself into my mouth a bit more. Not sure if it was impacted but I ended up getting tooth X-rays and they said it was pressing into my jaw bone and that I needed surgery to get them all removed. I decided against surgery during pregnancy and the pain went away after about 5 whole days. It sucked, but not as bad as I imagine having gaping mouth holes without the right pain meds after surgery would have sucked. I’m 22 weeks now and haven’t had any other issues besides bleeding gums. I don’t regret my decision. Good luck, I know that shit hurts
