Breastfed babies and dummies

After 2 weeks as we were desperate. It didn’t affect latch. She won’t always have it either x

7 weeks!

Ive been considering introducing one but not sure if she would take to it being nearly 12 weeks

After 2 weeks when he just wouldn't come off of me for hours and hours.

@Samantha I have been trying for weeks for the same reason, but he just wouldn’t take it. Tried every shape dummy there is out there 😭

I am, we introduced dummy really early one. I think day 3 as she just wouldn’t settle. No issues with breastfeeding other then the usual to expect xx

@Greta with my boy, we held it in place until he sucked on it normally. Never force if he got distressed we took it away. Dipping it in breast milk might help

Considering it, my baby is 10 weeks

About 5 days, was a relief lol! So much easier to sooth him without the boob.

Introduced it from a few days in. Hasn't caused any issues. Got the minbie brand which is meant to be similar to the breast

haven't bothered this time but i did with my first on day 2 or 3. she only took it for about 3 weeks though i think, which is why we aren't bothering with this baby😅 xx

Day 3! Had no issues whatsoever with her latching and it’s been a life saver
