Vaginal opening after childbirth

I’m 4 weeks post vaginal delivery and things aren’t looking the same down there. I had a 1st degree tear that was stitched but the hole looks elongated and oval, kind of looks like the bottom portion wasn’t stitched closed enough. Is this normal for recovery? Will things look more normal in the next few weeks??

I'm 6 wks pp and noticed that exact same thing when I was about 2wks pp. I haven't had time to look again but also want to know the same thing

Idk look wise what things were like but I will say sex positions were not the same after by first birth. I just had my second and am only 4 weeks pp. So idk how things have changed this time. I only got 1 stich the first time and none the second time

@Alyssa a lot of positions hurt I’m guessing?

They were more uncomfortable than hurt and didn't get me going as much. We found new positions we liked better so it wasn't the end of the world. Just something I wasn't prepared for.
