Acid reflux

I’m nearly 35 weeks pregnant and got horrible acid reflux, I’ve tried gaviscon, drinking milk, smaller meals, eating slower and propping my head up at night but nothing is helping? Has anyone got any other advice please because it’s making me physically sick x

The chewable rennies helped me x

@Katie thank you I’ll have to get some tomorrow and try that. It’s even worse at night it’s keeping me awake in pain x

@Tink if no luck, go to the doctor and they can prescribe omeprazole x

@Katie okay thank you so much x

I had really bad acid reflux and it was making me sick. Went to the doc and they gave me something called omeprazole. I would go to your GP and ask if they would recommend it for you at this stage of pregnancy.

I had really bad acid reflux to the point when it was coming out of my nose and was waking up chocking on it. Digestive biscuits helped so much

@Karen thank you. I’ll give them a call on Monday x

@Dani this is what mines like or I’m hunched over the toilet being violently sick. I’ll have to try that thank you x

I asked my doctor and he gave peptac. It’s really good and pregnancy safe. Ask doctor for it

My whole pregnancy was about acid reflux lol, Rennie was a lifesaver, sleeping on my left side, biscuits, drinking warm milk or eating plain yoghurt, almonds, ginger and chamomile tea.. these helped me a lot xx hopefully you'll get better xx

God I don't miss the acid reflux, it was horrid! I started using Omeprazole and it got SO much better! I also didn't eat anything at least 3hrs before bed, and avoided high fat or greasy foods. So a chippy tea was off the menu for a while lol
