I would give mine straight from the fridge but he's so fussy n refuses to drink it if its cold. Wdum when u make the formula it's never warm? When u make bottles up they should be above 70⁰C but no higher then 80⁰C when you do it so they definitely should be hot, to hot for them to drink at that point, drinking temperature is 37⁰C or below. I just warm my babies bottles up in a bottle warmer for bout 5 minutes if I'm taking it out of the fridge x

@Willow see I don't. My baby isn't fussy and has it straight from the fridge, I just didn't know if others do this🙈

I don’t use formula but I don’t warm up breast milk anymore, I just take it out and leave for a bit while she nurses to get up to room temp then give it to her. She’s fine having it cold. I heard formula is different though as it’s not sterile

Cold milk is absolutely fine and if nothing else I’d say a good way to avoid nipple confusion if combo breast/bottle feeding. It’ll be handy once teething comes around as well since the cold sensation will soothe the gums xx For formula still make it with hot water and allow to cool but make sure to use it within the hour.

My son always had his room temp, he would drink it straight from the fridge but he preferred it after it had lost that really cold edge. Definitely don’t need to warm it up if baby drinks it cold!
