I breast and bottle feed. We use lansinoh
My son liked bottles at first but I was mainly giving them to him because he had a terrible latch. Once he got the hang of it I was pretty much exclusively BF besides occasional bottles when out and about. Suddenly he decided that he hated the Dr Brown bottle so I got a tommie tippie and he likes this one much better! Nipple is a lot more similar to breast shape. Have you tried that one?
My baby only like the nipples that came with my spectra. He won’t use a pacifier either. When you feed w bottle try to get a little milk on the nipple to get him to try to latch. Their latch reflex is at the roof of there mouth so when I put the bottle in his mouth I kind of rub the nipple at the top of his mouth to get him to latch
@Samantha my son hates Dr brown too! The spectra nipples are so similar to breast shape I think that’s why he latches better. Is he gassy with the tommie bottles ?
@Alyssa not any more than he normally is lol! Not sure if all the tommie bottles come with it but the one I got also has an anti-colic system. Side note, I literally have a spectra but I packed away the bottles because he loved dr brown to begin with. I should’ve tried those bottles before going out and buying more 😂😂😂
No true experience as my first never took to the bottle and I haven’t tried with my 2 month old yet. From other moms: maybe try not to be around baby when trying a bottle. Start with an once so no milk is wasted but have someone else feed the baby. Babies can sense mom 🤔
@Samantha I’m going to grab some to try but the spectra’s 10/10
We switched to the wide evenflo balance bottles and it’s been a game changer
My son used to be totally fine with the Dr browns bottles and then we went a month without using any bottles and now he keeps gagging on them The only ones he will take now are the spectra nipples and Dr browns wide mouth!
@Jenna this too I tried to have dad feed him and he stared at me the whole time and did not want to take the bottle I had to go in the other room 😂
Have you tried making the milk or formula nice and warm? My son won't take a cool/ room temp bottle but if it's warm, he's all for it
