Early induction

You can refuse any thing at any point. It’s your body and you have to consent to everything. It depends why they want to induce early. For me I was induced 37+1 for big baby. He was born 9lbs 1oz so the scans were accurate. However my body just didn’t seem ready to give birth as I couldn’t dilate past 5cm so ended in a c section sadly. But if I’d have left it a couple more weeks baby would have been huge and as it was my first baby there’s no way of knowing how my body would’ve coped with that. X

Yes. I did when I was told to. You can, hospital cannot force you.

Absolutely, they have to respect your wishes and only advise you of risks. I was told to induce but said no until I was 41 wks.

You totally can. It really depends on why you’re refusing and why your doctor is pushing for an induction
