Breast feeding question

I have a question for all only breast feeding mamas. My daughter is now one and I’m still breast feeding. But I’ve seen a lot of babies her age with several teeth, walking, and holding there bottles. The only difference between them is that those babies are formula feed. Is that a variable at all?? I’m just so curious because my little girl doesn’t walk yet and only has 2 teeth but when I see breast feed babies they are the same compared to formula feed where they are “ahead” and I put that in quotations because it’s not necessarily ahead but faster in a sense

My baby is breastfed. She has 10 teeth, can hold her cup but isn’t walking yet.

My daughter is only breast fed (and I’m still breast feeding) and she’s walking and has six teeth and holds her own sippy cup to drink her water. it’s not the breast feeding. But every baby grows up their own way on their own time and has their own strengths

almost 14m and i’ve always bf mine even now that he’s on solids. he’s been walking since 11m, has his 8th tooth coming in and can hold all his cups. the only difference i’ve noticed with him being bf instead of formula is weight.

@cici what about the weight? I’ve noticed with mine she’s not as high with weight as formula feed babies

same, my son has always been in the lower percentiles for weight. the dr has always said he looks great so i try not to let it bother me

@cici me too! She breast feeds and eats pretty much everything we eat but for some reason she’s not gaining weight like the rest lol I say breast milk gave her a fast metabolism 😂 but I’d lie if I say it doesn’t get to me. Mom guilt is crazy

as long as they follow their growth curve, i think everything is fine. he’s always been on track with his so that brings me some relief. it’s hard not to compare them to other babies. my best friend’s daughter is about the same weight, maybe more than my son, and she’s 2 months younger (formula)

Formula over here - lots of teeth but not walking! I don’t think it’s a variable, and honestly we have felt “behind” others in many ways too - just have to remind ourselves all babies are different and comparing them to similar aged babes may not be super helpful right now.
