Teething struggles

My little one has two bottom teeth and I’ve noticed that all four top incisors are coming through at the same time 😩😩. I’m currently giving paracetamol, ibuprofen and Ashton and parsons powder as well as home remedies like cold fruit and veg, spring onions and teething toys but nothing seems to be giving long term relief. We’ve been off solids and little one is also now starting to comfort breastfeed a lot of times now because the whole mouth seems sore. Does anyone please have anything else that they’ve tried that may be useful here? The more natural stuff, the better. Thank you 😁

My boy had 9 come at the same time 6 on the top, we found the only thing that actually really soothed him was well done meat around an hour before bed, he chewed the life out of it and it must have massaged his gums so well that it was easier to settle him before bed xxx

My little girl has been teething and we've found using anbesol liquid has really helped numb her gums. X

@Abby ouch, poor thing! I didn’t think about that actually. Thank you! I’m going to try this. What types of things do you give him?

@Lucy I can’t use the anbesol liquid unfortunately because of the ingredients or we’d be on it.

I use baby bonjela as well

Fair enough. It does really work, but it's your choice. I also give frozen breastmilk popsicle, and they help soothe it, too. X

Steak, pork, gammon, beef, I find steak is the one he prefers though😂xxx

@lynne bonjela didn’t touch the irritation at all. I’m already using the fruit feeder for cold fruit as well 😩

@Lucy it’s not a choice for us unfortunately. Lidocaine containing products is contraindicated for us. If it was a choice I’d have used it. Little one isn’t interested in the frozen milk 😩

@Abby brilliant! I’ll give this a go. Thank you very much again.
