Same here. I ask him do you need to go toilet as he’s dancing & holding himself. We just say let’s go & try then you can continue doing what you were doing 8/10 he goes for a pee

Same boat my daughter. Recently just turned 3 on the 3rd has been potty trained for about 6+ months. But can hold for hours. Usually does about 3 wees a day max. I try to take her every 2 hours sometimes she goes other times she says she doesn’t need to go. 9/10 times when I just say do you need to go she’ll say no 😭
My lg can go hours without having a wee. Sometimes when I sit her on the toilet she will have a little wee but sometimes doesn’t. She’s never in discomfort so I just presumed she had a good bladder🤣
Yep mine would often refuse to go even though he was clearly desperate. He’d also say “that’s okay!” after he’d done a wee in his pants which we were obviously not impressed by! It still happens occasionally now but less frequently, I guess it’s all a learning curve for them…
Mine is doing this in the morning. Been toilet trained since Easter but the last month or so, refuses to go when he gets up and then starts dancing madly and rushes to the loo. Like he’s testing the limits of how long he can hold it 🤦🏻♀️
Having a similar problem! He’s not telling me anymore when he needs to go and will hold it until I ask him to go to the potty 😫
