Hi lovely! Just thought I’d share my mums club if you’re looking for some new mum connections 🫶🏽 it’s just a free, chill group of mums who meet with the kids and bubs somewhere easy around the area you mentioned every week - no cost, no pressure, just mum chats & playtime! Eg - this week we’re gonna go to EVO Espresso at Yeronga for bub play, coffee, and mum chats. Next week we’re doing a park meet, then the Nurso cafe to play & see their hobby farm. When my 8 month old was younger I just popped her on my rug and let her look at the sky, which she loved, while I had a coffee and a mum chat 🥰 Just easy, friendly mums that want some mum chat time & to get out. @Amelia Is there a set day each fortnight? I go to a playgroup at a school every Wednesday which is great for my older children but due with number 3 this month and would like to find one with babies
@Shanade I can recommend Be My Village playgroup at Camp Hill for a play group with bubs (still slightly older). Lots there around 8 months. We go there Thursdays https://www.facebook.com/share/g/14euJTCaMa/?mibextid=K35XfP
Hey! Everyday Mums is coming to Jindalee soon
ABA (Australian Breastfeeding Association) Sherwood meets every fortnight either at the Sherwood Uniting Church or another venue (cafe, park, etc). The next meeting is the Christmas breakup lunch on the 16th Dec at the Ox (Oxley pub), but in the new year we’ll start back on the 6th of Jan at the church. It’s not just a breastfeeding group, I’ve loved it because there tends to be a lot of babies, while most playgroups in the area are more for toddlers/preschoolers.
