Omg thank you!!!!! I feel this when I lay down at night to go to bed on my sides it's like my pelvis and hips are being ripped apart... my boy will get super active and squirmy and then I feel his head in the birth canal and it's huge! It's so painful... I have no idea what it is /:
This is me right now, he dropped around 35 weeks and I am 37 on Thursday. I feel like the pressure just gets worse by the day and he is so squirmy when I am laying down, feels like he could pop out any minute 😭 I have a check up tomorrow so we will see if they check my cervix or not.
I’m 38 weeks and was having Braxton hicks on Saturday. Tightening in the belly, back hurts and possibly lightning crotch. When I was 36 weeks, I was 1cm dilated and baby’s head was down. I have my doctor appointment today and I’m wondering to get my cervix checked again or go for a membrane sweep. I’m ready for this child to come 😭
@Sammi let me know what tue doc says
@s a r a 🥀 let me know what the doc says and if u progressed on dilation
Yes I feel this a lot. I’m due on the 5th so pretty far along I guess and it just seems like she’s right there about to come out but no labor yet. Like I sat in a low squat position and it felt like I could just push out her head or something. So strange 😳 I feel her on my cervix a lot and ugh it just feels like nails on a chalkboard.
@Katia “That’s normal” LOL the usual shit. I just had a vaginal swab for bacteria screening.
@Katia I’m 2cm dilated, 50% effaced. This baby isn’t ready to come out yet 😭 My next appointment, I’ll have a membrane sweep.
Lightning crotch?
My baby boy has been head down since 25 weeks, and I’ve felt like this since 32 weeks. Now in week 36 he’s much heavier, bigger and stronger so he literally keeps me up until early mornings! Barely sleep with him squirming non stop!
ever since my baby dropped really low i’ve felt a sensation like she’s pushing downwards i don’t know if that’s the same as what you’re describing. the stabbing you’re feeling is possibly lightning crotch from baby’s head hitting nerves
