I think both are normal
The thought of washing dishes with a microfibre cloth turns my stomach for some reason
I found a scrub brush that has a soap dispenser attached at Ross and I'm currently using that, but usually I use a regular sponge. I've never seen anyone use a microfiber cloth, but I remember one time my grandma was using what looked like a wash cloth to wash her dishes when she didn't have a sponge 🤷🏻♀️
Whatever scrub brush dollar tree has
@Irita same I was so much confused and was little disgusted 🤣
@Shore Well I just asked my husband as well and he said it’s very commun in the USA Not where I’m from at all lol
@Jillian I like those as well. This is all my mil use I was so confuse I use it to clean surfaces only I don’t see how dishes can be really clean with that but my husband say it’s very commun lol
A sponge that has a soap dispenser attached
How tf are you scrubbing a pot of meat with little burnt bits at the bottom with a microfibre cloth? 😵💫 Sponge all day everyday!
I use both
Both Sponge for pots and pans, tough dirt dishes cloth for plates, silverware, cups
Here i use a sponge but back in Norway we would always use an actual brush 😁
Does she soak the cloth in bleach?
I use a cloth but not microfiber. We use a lot of cast iron and stainless so I use copper wool if there's really stuck on stuff. I just get a new rag every day.

@Zainab🗝️ no that’s my biggest concern lol she finish rinse it folded and left it there That’s recipe for disaster to me 🤣
We use the mesh microfiber dish clothes and love them for handwashing. I just pop them in the dishwasher to clean. So much more sanitary than a sponge. We use Norwex sponges for cleaning surfaces and they are machine washable
my side of the family washes dishes with dish cloths, my husband’s side (spanish and black) wash dishes with sponges when we first got together we had a big dilemma about it and in the end we said it was cultural 🤷🏻♀️
The dishwasher but if I absolutely HAVE to do it by hand I use a scrubbing brush
I use a sponge, I like the way it suds up. But in my family home we always used use a dish cloth (white with blue edging). Not sure I feel about microfibre.
Both
A dishmatic
Hands only and fingernails to scrape. 🫣🥴🥴🤣🤣
Thought microfibre clothes were for more surfaces. Never heard of anyone using them for dishes. I use a dish cloth. I know some who use a j cloth.
Both gross me out. But sponge grosses me out more
@Lauren oh really why ? Do you only use dishwasher ? or something else ?
@Violeta💕 hahahah
@Regan I like those very practical
I hate microfiber LOL
Microfiber feels gross, and is a magnet for eeeeverything. Sponges hold a LOT of germs. I hand wash with cotton or use a brush. I don't have a dishwasher anymore but when i did, i still half washed because it would miss stuff

I use a brush. I’m finding out sponges are better though. Never thought of trying a cloth!
An ikea scrub brush. More hygienic than a sponge. Never thought a cloth could clean the crusts from our pans.
@𝔾𝕚𝕤𝕖𝕝𝕝𝕖 to me microfiber could never scrub like i need it to
We use scrub mommy sponges & steel wool to gently scrub off & rough bits.
Scrubdaddy is the superior sponge. 🤣
I actually watched something the other day where they did a germ test on a cloth vs a sponge in VERY clean ( they was diagnosed OCD and was both way over the top with everything ) and the cloth was significantly cleaner ! I still won’t be using one though 😂
Specifically a scrubmommy sponge lol
