Oral Hygeine

Now that my son has started weaning, I'm unsure as to whether I should now clean his gums morning and evening (he has no teeth yet). What's everybody else doing? Should I buy a silicone finger brush so he gets used to the sensation of brushing? Currently I offer water after his meal to wash away any bits in his mouth and when washing his hands, I rub his gums with my finger.

I have used the brushbaby teething wipes for my little one (it also has chamomille so helps with teething pain) she loved that. Now she has 2 teeth already so we are brushing 🥰

I give him a toothbrush to chew on while his big sister is cleaning her teeth for good practice but it’s absolutely not necessary when they don’t even have any teeth x

I let my baby practice brushing. when he has his bath/ while I do my morning routine. Occasionally after food I will rub his gums with a damp muslin cloth to get any lingering bits of food.
