Should I be worried

My daughter is three next week and she seems to have got funny with sitting down and eating dinner. Some days she’s happily sit and eat foods like meatballs and spag bol But now she seems to just want to snack, she eats fruit all the time happily but she will eat a few mouthful of her dinner and then walk off and want to play or do something, she will then later will go get an apple or banana Is that normal? Also she knows where to go if she needs a poop or a wee and if she has no bottoms on she will go use the potty but if she has a nappy on she won’t use the potty Any tips there ? She occasionally pulls her pants down to use the potty but nothing happens Any tips ?

I mean, is anything that a 3 year old does 'normal' ? 😂😂 They have their own mind, even if it makes no sense to us and lord help us if we question them! 🤭 In all seriousness, don't even worry one bit!! They go through phases, with everything, it is totally fine. Regarding potty, just don't put a nappy on her until bed time? X

Hey hun, it’s Not just you Sometimes mine will sit n eat whole meal 🍽️ n ask for more Next day - n I know it’s food she likes, but will refuse to sit down and eat it Some days she won’t even eat fruit but will want the chocolate n treats which is getting annoying It’s frustrating, worrying, however just do like ya did in weaning ❤️Keep offering food / meals 💛eat in front of them 🩷eat same food/ meal they do 💚if distractions there - her programs or tv goes off altogether Potty training - we went cold Turkey, her in pants and only pull up at night, she’s not used a potty since last year. Always had help getting on and off toilet n now has aids like seats and steps in every other house. She will go in public toilets with me n other family members- had to teach her how to hold on to toilet seat so she doesn’t fall in. I know easier said than done but it’s worth it when they feel more independent n showing they proud. Recommend ❤️Eric 💙 website Hope it helps

You can also ask your Childrens centre for a potty training course Sometimes it’s just that thing you didn’t think of yourself n it’s that trick that works for your child
