Anyone else cry packing away their newborn clothes? 😭

I’ve (well my husband mostly had to do it as I was too emotional!) just packed away our little girl’s newborn and first clothes and I found it so emotional. She is 11 weeks and it’s hit me that she will never be that small again and she’s going to keep growing and my heart will keep breaking a little bit, she’s growing and healthy but why does this feel so hard?!

It didn’t hit me because of the clothes, it hit me because of other reasons. Mostly because I felt so alone with my LO. We were sitting in our rockinhfg recliner and just him and I at the time (I have a nice man in my life rn) but it is so overwhelming that I have been so blessed with such a beautiful creature to nurture and share my life and love and soul with. And that I have to let him go live his own life, soon, one day. 🥲 So it just hit you when you were doing that but I think it hits all mothers in a certain type of way, the fact that their souls are finally here, present with ours.

I cried when we put our Moses basket in the loft!

I sorted all her clothes when she was 1 into age group bags and into storage…. I got a headache crying 🤣

Nope. I couldn't wait to get rid of them & buy some next size up clothes.

@Rachel moving on…😊
