Hair

My baby is 8 months, when his hair is damp (and sometimes dry) it’s like this but then the next moment it can be completely straight or wavy. I can’t add more pics so I’ll comment them. Why does it do that, and what has your experience been. What do you think his hair type will be, either way it doesn’t matter but just curious( mixed mom, Native American dad)

My daughter’s hair was like that until around 9/10 months. Blk mom/puerto Rican dad. Now at 1 year the front of her hair remains wavy/loose curls and the back curls are tighter when wet looser when dry. I’m still trying to figure out where it will land!

@Ericah that’s so interesting! Genetics in general! What is PR dad’s hair like is it straight or wavy?

His hair is straight when it’s short but wavy as it grows

Hey, my little one is 1/4 Jamaican, 1/8 Spanish and the rest white British and his hair is super curly now at 15 months but when it was shorter it would do the same and I didn't know how t would come out. His dad has a type 4 curl (afro) and I'm completely straight. I think my little one will come out with a type 3 curl 😍

My son is 2 months old and his hair is exactly the same! Wondering when his real hair texture will be here. I’m Peruvian and his dad is black.

Currently my son hair is curly. I’m Nigerian and his father is Filipino

The longer it gets, the more curly it gets.

@Viola he’s so cute omg 😍😍🥹🥹 what’s his dads hair type ? Is it curly too or straight
