Allow yourself to grieve the loss, accept that the relationship is over, focus on self-care, limit contact with your ex, surround yourself with supportive people, engage in activities you enjoy, and understand that it's normal to still feel emotions while gradually moving forward and opening yourself up to new experiences and potential relationships. I still dream about my first boyfriend even though I'm absolutely not in love with him anymore. They leave a mark on you and that's ok, just know that there are other people out there and that they weren't right for you the first time around, but you'll eventually heal and move on.
All what Susie said for sure! I highly recommend keeping busy, tap into your hobbies and doing something you've been wanting to learn. Reaching out to friends and hanging out with them. An idle mind is the devil's workshop. Obviously therapy is a big one too. Depending on why you two broke up, they can help you work through your feelings on it. Journaling as well!
