My girl has been the same today, she keeps grabbing her ears too. If she carries on I will be giving her some calpol because nothing else is working
Could have written this myself yesterday. We've been using teething powder and it's made a huge difference x
@Lauryn I believe grabbing ears can be a sign of over-tiredness. As Teresa said, they'll have obvious symptoms
@Lucy she slept 12 hours last night and then had a 1 hr 30 min nap and was still doing it so I don’t think she’s been over tired all day. Her cheeks are also bright red and she keeps chomping down on my fingers 😔
@Lauryn my little girl is exactly same. the teething powder on dummy is making her much less upset x
@Grace it’s horrible isn’t it? My girl can’t have the powder because she has a milk allergy so I’ve been trying to use the gel but it’s not easy to get on when she’s screaming or trying to eat it 😅 She was the same for a while last night but calpol did settle her ( the first time she’s ever had it other than jabs) and she slept for 1hr 45, woke for 30 mins and then slept for 10hrs so I think she was definitely in pain 😔
Mine has been the same today. She never really cries and today she’s been inconsolable. Not sure if it’s connected to her Jabs she had on Monday also. She’s also been really off her feeds. She wants it and the minute it’s in her mouth she’s jumping off it and crying x
Hiya , my LO is teething , I found putting a tether in the freezer helps and the astons and parson teething gel help as you can give that for 3 months + and capol , I also purchased a teething monkey and that seems to help for a little while. It horrible when they starting screaming because of teeth 😓 hope your LO settles soon x
Check their gums, swelling, redness or teeth pushing through (you'd feel it). Use teething toys, bonjela gel. If the pain is constant give calpol
