Breech baby

I’m 34 weeks today and have been told my baby is breech (head lodged nicely into my ribs🥴). I’ve been told if he’s still breech at 36 weeks I’ll have a scan and an appointment to discuss my options including a c section. It’s my first baby and I’m not sure what to think about it all. Is anyone else in the same boat, have any advice or tips for getting him to move in the next 2 weeks?!

I had this too but by my scan a week later she'd moved to head down, they tend to keep moving until 36-37 weeks so hopefully your baby will move before then 🤞

My baby was breech at a 32 wk scan, again at 35 weeks and just seen midwife at 37 and he’d turned! I did a bit of being in hands and knees and having shoulders lower than hips, look online and there is lots of advice to help baby move naturally x

Hi, Millie! I’m the same as you! Having a scan soon to discuss options for my son’s birth. I think he’s complete breech. There is a breech group on Peanut which is great, lots of Mum’s talk about pregnancy yoga or ‘spinning babies,’ in the circumstances of my pregnancy, I’m quite happy to go for c-section and looking forward to getting a date. 💙

Mine is foot breech, (feet first) I’ve chosen a section anyway for this one x

I am the same and have been booked in for a final scan at 37+5 to check if they are still breech and will then schedule me in for a section as I have declined an ECV.😁

I’m 37+1 … baby was breech but now transverse (sideways). Been told I need to go in to hospital today and stay there until baby is born via c section 😢 xx

If anyone needs info on c-sections I found lots of videos on YouTube from different health authorities in the U.K. that explains the procedure, I’ve watched a few procedures or even ‘One Born every Minute,’ I found to be quite useful. You can request to go visit the ward where you’ll be and get your consultant to give you info. I get that not everyone might be into doing any of that but I hope you’re not too disappointed or scared. Much love to you all xx

Have a look at spinning babies. Try book acupuncture and try moxibustion. Does your hospital support breech birth? Do you know what an ECV is? You do not need to book a c section if you don't want to. X

Thank you so much for the advice everyone xx
