Our son goes to our local Goddard School. We love it. They have a few in Austin as well. It can be pricey but it's worth it. Our son learns daily and has fun doing so.
General things: low teacher to child ratio, curriculum for teaching, cameras are ideal, logging system for meals etc, teacher first aid training, now turnover on employees
As a daycare teacher I would look into facilities that have policies set in place to update you about your child throughout the day. At our facility each classroom has a designated iPad that teacher use to update the parents on diaper changed, meals, naps, and events going on.
I will agree to all the above. Our goddard school app is great. We get daily reports on diaper changes, meals, naps and activities and pics throughout the day. I know some parents look for cameras. I would just be cautious about that because cameras can be and have been hacked. It has happened at a daycare in our city a few years ago and the feed was posted to a Russian site.
Hi there! You might get a better response if you mention the area where you live or look for a group that's catered to your specific location. That way, you can get more tailored recommendations from local moms. Good luck finding the perfect daycare for your little one! 😊
