It isn't a bad sign, but it doesn't necessarily indicate what sort of supply you'll have. Some women don't produce any or much colostrum until after they've delivered the placenta but they still go on to have great supplies, but other women start producing colostrum from as early as 16 weeks. It's good though, because you'll be able to collect some after 36 weeks. It really helped me to have a little stash in my freezer because my baby had tongue tie, so we had some latching issues at first and I didn't want to give him any formula so I gave him the colostrum I'd collected for the first few hours in hospital until I went home and was more comfortable to breastfeed in my own environment. Generally speaking, supply is based on demand, so the more you breastfeed the baby the more milk your body will make, it's not really about what happens in pregnancy.
It doesn’t really indicate anything tbh. I’ve been leaking since 15 weeks and now it’s really bad, I’m soaking tops at night. It just means that your colostrum is there, doesn’t have any bearing on how your milk supply will be at all x
I’m not sure whether or not it indicates how your milk will be later on but it’s great that you can already naturally harvest colostrum and sounds like you’ll have a great supply to give to baby when they’re born!
