Job search and advice

My little one is 2.5 years old and finding jobs is hard when daycare is to much in nyc and im trying to get a daycare voucher but a lot of the daycare don't want to take my LO who isn't potty trained and with a cow milk allergy. I'm mixed feelings about letting others potty training her, but I'm highly upset because they are telling me a child with an allergy is considered a disability because it is life threatening, and she needs special needs and etc including paper work in which I don't understand. I don't know what to do or look for another option that hopefully won't shit me down again, I'm feeling discourage and so much more and at this point I'm about to find a job that allows while I have my child at home/remote. Any ideas and advice I'm sooo at lost

Hey there 😊 I'm so sorry to hear that you're going through this. I honestly have no information on this, but since you're in NYC, and if you don't know this already there's a Head Start Program that takes children 18 months and older, free of charge, for eligible families. I can't tell you anything about it, but you can Google it and find out more. Here is the link. I hope this helps. Good luck to you and your little princess 😊 https://www.schools.nyc.gov/enrollment/enroll-grade-by-grade/head-start

Get a nanny to cover you while you keep looking for daycare. Yes, it will be expensive, but it will be temporary as you transition to going back to work.

@Su You are a total life saver!!!!! Anything and everything is a help

@Bonny there's a fb group site for nanny and im looking into it
