Just pack some 0-3 and a few tiny just in case

@Natasha I’ve got quite a bit of newborn stuff , would this class as tiny as I wasn’t sure , going to pack some newborn and then some 0-3 as well I think x

I had a predicted "big baby", he came out 8lbs 13oz, only barely fit into some brands of newborn/0-1 month. He went straight into 0-3 in the hospital.

There's different types of clothes they should say on them if they are tiny baby

@Natasha tiny baby is usually premature sizes, up to 5 or 6 lbs. 0-3 is up to 12lbs or so, so there's a massive difference between those sizes!

I have a growth scan next week so will have more of an idea how big baby is measuring I’m just worried about not having the right sizes packed , unfortunately I don’t have any tiny baby because I’ve not been told to expect a small baby but I have a lot of newborn which are labelled up to 7lbs I believe and then I have a lot of 0-3 also so I think I’ll just take a few of each hopefully that will be okay. X

Im taking up to 1 month but I have been checking the weight in clothing to make sure it goes above 10lb in up to one month incase I have another big baby

I’ve packed one set of newborn and one set of 0-3 my partner can always pop home if we need anything else

My baby was born 7lb7 but was extremely poorly and dropped right down to 6lb4. I packed one tiny baby outfit and the rest newborn and 0-3 I packed quite a lot of clothes tbh and I’m glad I did now as we was both in there a week as we both was extremely ill afterwards. Not saying that will happen to you. I was also measuring at having a 9lb plus baby and she was only one day early so just be mindful and be prepared better to be safe then sorry.

Honestly I find that the leg measurement is more important which make it sort of difficult I would take 0-1 and 0-3 it’s better if they are a little too big then for them to be restricted and not be able to stretch ! If you have newborn and they fit I wouldn’t worry about them being taken to hospital no one is gonna judge! My little girl is 11 weeks she is a tiny girl yet had long legs she nearly fits in 3-6 leg wise yet body and hands can still fit in newborn and 0-1 which make it a little hard 😂😂

If you've got newborn and 0-3 take a couple of each, that will be plenty 😊

We took first size (>7/8lbs) & newborn (>9/10lbs) - we’d had a fairly recent growth scan so felt quite sure she wasn’t gonna be bigger than that. Sizes across shops vary a lot too

I’m taking newborn size and I think I’ve got a couple of up to 1 month size. I’m not taking tiny baby as I think that’s too small and I’m not taking 0-3 as I think that’ll be far too big, especially judging by baby’s centile from scans. So yeah I think newborn and up to 1 month will suit us. But if worse comes to worse there’s a Sainsbury’s across the road from the hospital so my partner can always nip out to buy something else lol

I took mainly newborn my baby was born 6lbs 4oz and is now just over 7lbs still in newborn clothes - just depends really

Where I live it’s newborn up to 7lb, 0-1 is up to 10lb and then 0-3 is up to 14lb I believe But yeh I only took 0-1 as I knew they’d be above 7lb so wouldn’t fit newborn and 0-3 would be way to big, they were 8lb so 0-1 was perfect x
