Hiya what I done with my daughter is buy a potty and everytime I went to the toilet I placed her on her potty and then when she was down stairs every half and hour place her on the the potty so she got used to the potty and then she started going her self x
So we started with the method where you stay home and have them be bottomless. Then whenever they start doing a wee or poo, sit them on the potty. It didn’t really work for us to be honest. It stressed her out because we were following her so closely, and it was so hard to get her to the potty before she was finished! But I know it works for lots of people, so might be worth considering! We switched to sitting her on the potty regularly and having her stay there for as long as she wanted and we’d play or read to her. It took a while but when she eventually did a wee on the potty, we’d give her praise and a little reward (started off as a little piece of biscuit, then we switched to a sticker). This worked really well and it clicked quite quickly after that. If she had an accident we’d just say “oh dear! Wee wee goes in the potty” in a cheerful voice while we cleaned her up. We then phased out the rewards and now she’s quite happy with praise and a high five ☺️
Following as I feel the same, my son scoots around backwards on his potty and pretends it’s a car 🙄😂
