I wore loose clothing. I gave birth in august so i wore a sun dress but do not pack anything tight or that a seam could hit the incision.
Long loose nighty and big big knickers!
Loose clothing, high waisted elasticated trousers, the frida mom disposable pants x
High wasted cotton knickers or incontinence pants, button up pj's if you're breast feeding and high wasted pj bottoms. The ward may be quite warm so it might be worth taking short pj's rather than being uncomfortably hot, especially before the spinal block wears off and your movement is very much restricted
I took a nighty but kept the gown on. Bending is difficult - so anything you Have to pull over your feet could be challenging - I had some really massive joggers. Flip flops also/
Took a long nighty with flip flops
I took a nightie, loose button up high waisted pjs (in about two sizes up) and then large high waisted knickers (about 3 sizes up - same ones as during pregnancy!)
Loose nighties x
Loose and comfy. Also fuzzy socks 😊
I wore nightshirts while in hospital but wore leggings for the drive home and for the majority of the recovery, it just felt more comfortable x
I just wore the hospital provided gown at the beginning and then transitioned into the kindred bravely nightgown as it was a bit easier to breast-feed in without feeling like I had to be completely naked up top lol. I think anything with pants would get annoying quickly having to go to the bathroom and change pads, etc.
I did a nursing night gown, with a no underwire nursing bra, and brought bathrobe and slippers for hall walks . For discharge, high waisted maternity leggings and a big loose shirt
I wore Frida mama boyshort under and a nursing bra with a long sleeve night gown that buttoned all the way down. Wore it unbuttoned most of the time unless I was walking around, or the same underneath but a light weight robe (tied high up). Your incision will be very low so most pants you wear should come significantly higher, just wear looser pants for a few days.
A nursing nightgown 100%. And then bring a big tshirt and pajama pants for discharge day.

They provide the gown for you lovely. But clothes wise super light comfortable black jogging set I got mine from tescos. I also packed a long and short sleeved black button down top and pj bottoms with a light dressing gown that matched. All really helpful. Because there were elasticated I could wear them high, defo get the next size up for comfort. Good luck xxx

I wore a loose fitting nighty in hospital and upon going home (I self discharged 15 hours post c-section) I was in leggings but a size up so they weren't anywhere near the incision and quite high up, and an oversized jumper 😊
