I’d really recommend a chair - I found it really helpful to have somewhere to take her out of our room to feed etc in the night so I didn’t need to worry about disturbing my husband, I also found feeding awkward in bed. You can get changing mats that rest across the cot which looks like a good space saver - I will prob do this for my second as the room is much smaller. You could just try getting a changing mat to start with though as lots of the time you’ll probably just do it on the bed/ floor and see how you feel. I think my couldnt live without was a bouncer. I got a baby bjorn one handed down to me and you can get them on marketplace fairly cheaply. Also although they’re a bit controversial, a nest like a dock a tot is helpful to have on the sofa next to you at the beginning so you can pop them down (you just aren’t supposed to let them sleep unattended) xx
Thank you so much. Think I’m definitely going to go for a nursing chair and will have a look at rockits have never heard of them before x
I’m a first time mum but my friends have babies and they have said I have to buy a rockit. It attaches to your buggy and vibrates to create the feeling of moving to soothe them.
