Speechless.

I’m 34weeks pregnant. I recently found that my baby is breach and I might have a c-section. I’m extremely worried. I have a one year old. The only family we’ve got in this country is my MIL who will take care of my firstborn when I’m in labor. She’s very controlling, interfering in everything. Baby’s bath, sleep, meals, play-time. Even when I’m feeding him from my plate she refuses me not to. My firstborn was preterm and the second baby also has a risk of coming soon. I have been worried my entire pregnancy about this and now the breech situation. Instead of being supportive my MIL cursed me to go in labor. I miss home. I miss my mom.

Not sure if it helps at all but my baby was breach at 34 weeks and they checked again at 36 weeks and he had rolled over (head down) so there’s still a chance your little one could move? Have you spoken to your midwife about the possibility of him turning? I hope everything works out for you!

@Kayleigh thank you! Helps a lot and gives me hope that things can be better. Yes the doc says that we need to do an ultrasound at 36 weeks. But I gave birth to my firstborn at 34 weeks and there’s a chance this could be preterm too. So just worried if something happens before that. But I’m hopeful 🤞🏻

Are you not in a position to call your mum so she can come over ? Regarding your baby been breach my lg was at 35 weeks and span around at 38 weeks may have been earlier but that’s when I had the scan to the correct position x

@Fay my mom is working and has responsibilities. I have a younger sister and she has her exams. She’s just 12 years old and needs my mom. I’m so glad things went in your favor

Have you tried talking to mil or asking your husband too ? Maybe you could find a mutual ground where you can both be happy. I hope things work out for you ❤️

Hey Incognito, really hoping your baby will turn! Have you looked into the spinning babies website to try and help your baby turn? There's still time. Xxx

@Aurélie too scared to be doing anything new. Is it safe? I’m also at risk for preterm

Oh I don't know. You might want to check it out and see if it says if it safe for women who are at risk of preterm. I'm not sure. I've also heard of moxybustion which some midwives do. It's to do with a Chinese herb that makes baby turn. You might want to look into it as well. I don't know the success rate but the midwife at our antenatal classes was qualified to do it. But I'm based in the UK, don't know where you're based. Good luck to you xx

My bubs wasn’t breach but I did have ab emergency C-section, the actual surgery was amazing and controlled and calm. All I’ll say is make sure you are taking the pain meds religiously the first few days! I was on endone/oxy for the first week and then could walk fine after that. Fuck your MIL, you do whatever you need to do and stand up for/advocate for yourself 🥰 you got this mama 🥰
