Music to be played Meds to take away Where to place the cannula Who to announce the gender I had skin to skin but that’s customary in my hospital Who to cut cord

I would also add whether you want the curtain lowered when the baby comes out (I did and it was amazing!) And delayed cord clamping

Also, skin to skin while they are stitching you back up

Clear drape, pull baby out with assistance (if that’s something you want to do), immediate skin to skin, no wiping down of baby, delayed cord clamping, vaginal seeding, initiate breastfeeding with assistance, let them examine baby on your chest and not away from you, music playing, in the background, double suture that would favor a VBAC in the future (if possible)

This! I used the epi and natural birth plans, but if you scroll down there’s a whole free downloadable birth plan template and prep info for c-section mommas. Hope this is as helpful for you as it was for me. The nurses loved the birth plan! https://mommylabornurse.com/birth-prep-packs/

I had an emergency and I requested as long as she wasn't going to die delayed cord clamping and for then to leave the cord long so my husband could cut it in recovery. We didn't have time for music but music is helpful. I wish I'd got skin to skin but I got to see my baby rather then them being rushed out the room to be resuscitated so I'm glad I had he next to me
