Anyone had a good experience with north Middlesex hospital?

Had my first baby there and had the worst experience but other hospitals are so far so no choice but to go with them this time too. Everyone I’ve met whose had a baby there dont have a good experience so anyone actually had a positive experience and want to share?

I had a great experience with my second child, all the midwives were absolutely wonderful and amazing. But with my current baby they were horrendous and I had a terrible time there. Definitely wouldn't recommend having your baby there

Il be honest 7 years ago I had my first born they were so horrible and mean . But this time they were amazing shockingly I had a great experience with them from A-Z il be sure your in safe hands there they have changed a lot xx 😘

I had my first there and had a positive labour experience. All the midwives were lovely and I was able to have the birth I wanted. Not everything went perfectly though and my child’s high heart rate was missed until several hours later when we were in the postnatal ward. Deffo pros and cons but if you don’t have much choice the best you can do is advocate hard for yourself and your baby x

Where are you based? I registered there with my little man as it was literally around the corner from where I worked. Then jsut after my 3 month scan I had some bleeding and we went to A&E as it was to early for triage …anyways it was New Year’s Eve not very busy maybe 10 people waiting and I was called in the nurse asked me what was happening and then said well the midwifery team or whoever deals with this have gone home as it’s bank holiday come back tomorrow around 10am and they’ll see you. I said I was bleeding heavily and she didn’t even check my blood pressure etc…sent me on my way. I called the helpline who said that shouldn’t have happened but I took myself to Whittington who dealt with me directly and gave me a scan etc (obviously all was good but the scare was to much) I referred myself to Whittington after that. I’ve heard some horror stories tbh but I’ve also heard some positives. I made a complaint etch was dealt with.

I meant to give birth here, been having all my antenatal appointments at chase farm. I expressed this exact concern to the midwives and they agreed that north Middlesex isn’t good at all and they have advised me to go to Barnet hospital instead

I gave birth o my first there back in February. Nothing but positives from start to finish. Appointments always on time, my midwives only a text away at all time, consultant appointments all kept and never changed. I ended up being induced a week before my due date and everything was dealt with so quickly and with care. I know it gets a bad rep, I was worried to begin with. But genuinely had the most positive experience.
