Daytime sleep

How does your LO fall asleep in the day? How do people have schedules that are eat play sleep?? I don’t get it. My LO only sleeps with milk. If I leave him to it or put him down drowsy he won’t sleep. He can get overtired and be awake for hours in the day and be unsettled. This is my second and I wanted a very chilled approach to sleep and not get obsessive with it.

Aren't they still too young for a schedule? My little girl often falls asleep after nursing, so there's no way I can do this

Mine is topped up with formula and sleeps all the time as long as I’m holding her. She also takes so long to eat that there isn’t much time for play. Do you play throughout the day? What type of activities please?

@Katie I don’t want a rigid schedule just to know how to magically get him to sleep without milk lol I don’t know if it is possible. He doesn’t take to rocking shhing singing etc

@Louise literally just tummy time on me and contrast cards and talking to him which is enough I think. And same I bf and top up but he never sleeps after a bottle only bf, so I may need to change bottles if he doesn’t take to it
