What are you supposed to do with a microwave then? It’s sole purpose is to cook food quickly 😵💫
I mean I’ve never done it but it’s not going to harm anyone doing it that way 😂 cooked is cooked regardless of how you get there!
i tried making them in the microwave a few weeks ago and i gotta admit it felt illegal😂😂and they also didn’t taste very good lol but it’s definitely not something to get mad about 😭
I always made it in the saucepan until I moved in with my husband and he did it in the microwave. So much easier and quicker however the saucepan tastes nicer but either way is fine. Especially if you’re short of time. If he’s that upset then he can cook from now on
I’m that way when I saw my oh fry bacon in a pan. All I could think about was his cholesterol
I’ve done it to test it. But I didn’t eat it 😂
You can even cook a quick cup brownie in the microwave with an Oreo in it…. I ate that lol.
I scramble my eggs in the microwave every single day 😵💫
My nan has always done it this way, I’ve never dared to eat it though.
Yeah, cooked them that way for decades 😂
How do you cook it in the microwave?
I didn’t even kno this was possible do they still taste good?
I was a breakfast chef in uni at a bed& breakfast and we made scrambled eggs in the microwave all the time cause it’s more efficient . Your husband is tripping and needs to calm down
We use the microwave to warm food not cook. What on earth are people cooking in there 😅😅😅

@Victoria~ yes just add milk butter salt and pepper like you normally would whisk heat for 1.5 min mix again then another 1.5min not over cooked or rubbery and way easier to clean up
No there are disadvantages to cooking with microwaves my husband only uses the steamer and cooktop but if you use it in your home for other things maybe shouldn’t be an issue . Maybe because it’s a protein it’s like cooking meat which I personally wouldn’t do in a microwave cook things that can potentially get you sick if they’re not cooked properly etc maybe that’s his line of thinking
@Audrey that’s amazing I gotta try this
Never
Yep and poached eggs too! I'm a rebel! (We even cooked dry pasta in the microwave when we didn't have a kitchen.)
I prefer doing mine low and slow on the hob, but I’ve definitely used a microwave before when I’ve wanted eggs in a hurry for lunch.
1 mug + 1 egg + 1 bit of butter + shredded cheese stirred together makes the perfect shaped egg for putting on a biscut! Tell your husband to work smarter not harder 😂
@Rallii when all you have is a kettle and a microwave you get creative fast!
As a kid, I always cooked eggs in the microwave because I didn't want to use the stove. Now I probably wouldn't because cleaning the bowl after is hell
When I use to work at this Bagel place and they would have breakfast; they microwave eggs to make it.
Microwaving eggs doesn’t add calories. They’re less because you don’t use oil like you do in a pan so it’s healthier! 😆 Arguably they’re fluffier in the microwave too but I personally prefer it runnier doing it on the pan 🤷🏼♀️
Always! Easiest and cleanest way for my breakfast in the morning last and saves me time! Lol
Well what does he use a microwave for then? If he says you can’t cook food in there😂🤦🏼♀️
