Same as that. Just under 4 months and she will not stay on the boob for longer than 5 mins, even in a dark room. So squirmy, it's exhausting wrestling her and then worrying about how much she's getting. What's worse is she's a total bottle refuser. I guess I have to accept this is just life at the moment 😅
Yeah my 4 month old is the same. Any noise or slight movement and she’s off. Although it is so cute when she looks up and grins at me!
Same! My son is 4.5 months and has been doing it for a few weeks. I think it is getting a little better with time though.
It's the same with my bottle fed little one! He's mixed breast milk and formula milk in bottles and it's becoming a sodding battle! Then he gets angry and upset because he's hungry, and won't take the bottle even more!
Same and my baby now is waking more in the night to feed and clearly reverse cycling, and I'm exhausted. I'm trying to cover her up and feed somewhere with fewer distractions. I thought I was already in the sleep regression, but it's got worse, and naps have gotten even worse. We were 45 mins, and we got a few 1 hour ones recently. Today 30 mins and she's awake. She goes down awake and self soothes. Has a clean nappy and full tummy so I'm in despair 🫠 just had to spend a while getting her back down to sleep.to try to give her some decent day sleep. I don't know what I'm doing wrong!
@Tilly Same I don’t want to pump and she has severe allergies so we did try a prescription formula but I don’t blame her for refusing - it smells disgusting! @Tashah I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong it’s just a phase for all of us hopefully doesn’t last too long
@Tashah not doing anything wrong! We are in the same boat when he’s sleepy overnight he latches and feeds really well whereas day feeds a disaster and so definitely in reverse cycling too! Also in pit of sleep regression hell - it’s so hard
Here for solidarity! My LG is 4 months and has been doing this for a few weeks now, but getting more and more frequent! Impossible for me to feed her in public now and I'm having to express more so that I can give her bottles whilst we're out. She's also not feeding for more than 5 mins now, and I know they become more efficient at feeding, I just worry she's not getting enough 😅 so I'll give her a top up every now and then. As cute as it is, I hope they get past this stage soon! 😅
