PCOS?

Hi! I’m new to the group, about a year ago I was diagnosed with PCOS. I have an aunt who has it, so my risk of getting it is higher. I wanted to gather a second opinion but since I recently had a baby my PCP suggested waiting about 8 months postpartum before getting blood work done. I’m 6 months postpartum. But recently I’ve noticed hair growth on my chin and neck. Is this a symptom of PCOS? Or just hormonal issues after having a baby? Not sure if that makes sense. Thanks!!

Not sure if this helps but my pcos symptoms seemed to have gotten worse after having my little one!

I’ve heard hair loss is an after baby symptom so I think hair growth not on your head is a PCOS thing I have it and I have a bit high testosterone level then normal females so I get chin hair here and there and a little mustache but I haven’t noticed anything extra since having my son although I have lost a lot of hair when washing it in the shower thank god I have thick hair so it’s not even noticeable

It certainly is a symptom yes. After I took the 'pill' and lost weight my symptoms improved

@Leia it helps!! I have excessive hair growth everywhere now.

@Emily yes I noticed that when I am a smaller weight all of my symptoms improve. So I’ve been working on losing some weight !!
