Night time feeding

Hi ladies So my 11 week old baby has started going down to bed at like 9.30pm-10pm and then doesn't wake up till 5am. He is exclusively breastfed, he is piling the weight on and weights nearly 13lb so he is doing really well. He feeds alot throughout the day but im just worried that maybe I should be waking him to feed or shall I leave him to sleep? I'm fully loving the sleep but I just feel guilty for him not feeding x

If he was hungry he would wake hin x enjoy it lol

Health visitors will pretty much always say if they’re above birth weight and gaining well you can leave them to sleep! Enjoy it - my 8 week old slept from 10:30 until 6am last night and it was honestly great😅

Leave him and enjoy your sleep! My daughter (8 weeks) sleeps 11pm till 7am. By 11weeks my firstborn was sleeping 10-10. If baby was hungry, they’d wake. As long as they’re putting on weight and having wet/dirty nappies then they’re getting enough x

I asked my health visitor this the other day and she said let him sleep 😴 BUT if breastfeeding she said we should wake up between 1 and 4 am to either pump or dreamfeed to protect our milk supply! X

My baby has just turned 11weeks aswell and am exclusively breastfeeding he sleep all the way though honestly if your LO isn’t waking for a feed it will mean they don’t need one as long as there weight is good it will probably be because they are feeding a lot in the day if you are really concerned about it call your health visit for some advice x

Honestly, enjoy it!! My little girl is 10 weeks and we were having the same. I'd just wake up to pump. But since her jabs were awake ALL THE TIME 🥴 last night was every 1/2 hours. I'm craving those long stretches again of sleep again. X

this is giving me hope 🤣 my baby is EBF but he’s still up every 2 hours or so, i’m dyyyying to have a longer stretch, it’s been too long! but yeah defo just enjoy your sleep x

No need if baby's nappys and weight are fine :) Enjoy it while it lasts, my daughters sleep went horrific from 4 -13 months 🙃🙃 this baby is currently sleeping until 4/5ish so I'm embracing whist I can fully anticipating it could all change at any minute 😂 Our bodies are very clever and know what they're doing, trust in it unless you start seeing symptoms to think otherwise x
